Apology and notification regarding errors causing the game to crash

We have confirmed an issue with some save data for the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak causing the message “The Software Was Closed Because An Error Occurred”to display when you try to save or when you go to a loading screen.

When this issue occurs, you may no longer be able to save the game and/or your save data may become corrupted.

How to fix/avoid
the issue temporarily:

This error may be caused by the save data size growing too large. If you are experiencing this issue, or if saving is taking a longer time than usual*, you may be able to fix/avoid the issue by deleting a certain number of Guild Cards (at least 10).
*If saving is taking a long time, your save data size may be getting too large.

We are currently looking into a way of fixing this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
