Notice Regarding the Availability of the Demos
The Monster Hunter Rise Demo Version 2 will be available until 4:00 a.m. UTC on July 1st.
The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Demo will still be available after that time.
The demo that was released in January and contained basic training as well as a few hunts using all 14 weapon types, has been upgraded with a new quest to slay Magnamalo!

- *This is a free demo of Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch.
- *You need a Nintendo Account in order to access the Nintendo eShop.
- *You need 1.8GB (Update data: 0.2GB) of free space on your Nintendo Switch or your microSD card to download the demo.
- *Up to four players can play the demo in Local or Online Multiplayer, as long as each player downloads the demo.
- *In order to use Online Multiplayer, a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required.
- *You will not be able to transfer your save data to the full game.

*You can play the quests to slay Great Izuchi, Mizutsune, or Magnamalo up to 30 times.
Once you run out of remaining tries, all five quest types, including the Basic Training Quest and the Wyvern Riding Training Quest, will become unavailable. -
- If you're playing the demo for the first time:
- You can download the "Monster Hunter Rise Demo Version2" from the Nintendo eShop on Friday March 12, 2021.
- If you've already downloaded the "Monster Hunter Rise Demo" in January:
- You can update to the "Monster Hunter Rise Demo Version2" by downloading the update data from the Nintendo eShop on Friday March 12, 2021.
Once the update is finished, your number of remaining quests will be reset to 30.
